Google Analytics and Google Signals
Pulssonen.no uses Google Analytics 4 to analyse website traffic and user behaviour. We have also enabled Google Signals, a feature that provides aggregated reports about visitors’ demographics and interests, including age groups, gender and interest categories.
The information is based on users who are signed in to a Google account and have consented to personalised advertising through Google. The data we receive is anonymised and aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users.
The purpose of this processing is to better understand the audience of Pulssonen.no, improve the content on the website, and provide more relevant advertising and marketing.
This processing only takes place if the user has consented to analytics and advertising cookies through our consent banner.
Data is retained in Google Analytics for up to 14 months. If a user returns to the website within this period, the retention period may be extended in accordance with Google’s data retention settings. Pulssonen.no only has access to anonymised and aggregated reports and cannot identify individual users from this data.

Dersom en bruker besøker nettstedet på nytt innen denne perioden, kan lagringstiden forlenges i henhold til Googles innstillinger for datalagring. Pulssonen.no har kun tilgang til anonymiserte og aggregerte rapporter, og kan ikke identifisere enkeltpersoner gjennom disse dataene.
Newsletter Subscription (MailPoet)
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and, if provided, your name. This data is used solely for the purpose of sending you newsletters and updates.
Sending service: To deliver our emails, we use the MailPoet Sending Service, operated by Automattic, Inc. (60 29th Street #343, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA). When an email is sent, your email address is processed through MailPoet’s servers for delivery purposes. MailPoet does not permanently store your subscriber data and does not use it for their own marketing.

How your data is used: MailPoet will only use your data to deliver our newsletter on our behalf and to improve its own service. MailPoet will not contact you directly or share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Tracking: Our newsletters may contain a tracking pixel that allows us to see whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. This helps us improve our content. If you prefer not to be tracked, please do not load images in your email client.

Data retention: Your data is stored for as long as you remain subscribed to our newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any of our emails or by contacting us directly.
